“I haven’t been to the dentist in over ten years and naturally I was very nervous making the appointment. Dr Paula Brennan and her team made me feel very relaxed and their professional but approachable style was much appreciated. I ended up needing a filling and I can honestly say I felt no pain. Everything was explained in advance and communication skills were second to none. Facilities are spotless and modern.

After all, they are great value for money.

Check-ups
The check-up begins before you even walk into a treatment room.
The dentist will review your medical history and discuss any issues that are worrying you. It’s a good time for nervous patients (that’s 80% of the population) to explore ways that we can reduce their anxiety.
If any treatment is recommended the benefits and risks will be carefully explained. You will also be taken through the costs and given alternative options that are clinically appropriate.
For more complex work a Treatment Plan is prepared and given to you in writing. You will have plenty of time to ask any questions and we hope that you will.

Pain relief
Fear of pain stops many people visiting the dentist.
That’s why we have developed so many ways to help. The most important is our dentist’s incredible skill and gentle touch. We also rely on the latest technology.
Because we use an anaesthetic cream on your gum first you shouldn’t feel any pain when a traditional injection is administered. Within a few minutes the nerves in the tooth being treated should be fully numb. Additional top-ups can be delivered if you feel anything uncomfortable. Our dentists are so gentle that we have even had patients falling asleep during a filling!
The Wand is a computer controlled alternative way of delivering anaesthetic.
The slow, precise flow-rate is key to providing a relaxing experience without the potential ‘sting’ that used to be associated with a traditional injection.
Nobody notices our white fillings, which is great.
Just like amalgam fillings, white fillings can be used to treat tooth decay. Many people prefer them because of their fantastic blending abilities, making them barely noticeable to the untrained eye. It’s a simple way to help you eat, talk, smile and laugh with more confidence.
Our white fillings are made from a resin base, carefully selected to match the original shade of your tooth. We’ll normally give you the filling with local anaesthetic and you won’t experience any pain.
Silica is added to the resin for volume and then place on your tooth in thin layers. Each layer is hardened with a UV light with the last layer trimmed off and polished.
Just because you need a filling it doesn’t mean you want everyone else to see it! We go to great lengths to blend the shade of a composite filling so it closely matches the natural colour of your tooth.
The super strength materials we use actually supports the remaining tooth structure, which helps prevent teeth breaking. Our white fillings even insulate teeth from excessive temperature changes. So they feel as good as they look.
White fillings are a beautiful solution for damaged teeth because they only take one appointment in most cases.
At WeLoveTeeth we use the latest materials that are so durable so they can be used on back teeth. Which is great news for anyone who has ever been embarrassed by revealing their fillings to the world while laughing or yawning.
If you’re one of the many people who are thinking about replacing their traditional amalgam fillings with white ones, we’ll be happy to help.
