Do we offer ‘Botox’?
We get asked this a lot but most people don’t realise that the word ‘Botox’ is a trademarked name for a specific botulinum toxin type A product. Due to Botox’s market dominance and large marketing budget, it has become synonymous with ‘facial rejuvenation’.
Botox isn’t the only botulinum toxin A product however. Others, include Vistabel, Dysport, Bocouture, and Azzalure. So, when someone asks whether we offer Botox they often mean, ‘Do you offer treatments for the lines and wrinkles?’ And the answer is yes!
BOTOX is a prescription only medicine which we cannot offer directly to the public. After every consultation we will always recommend the best product to suit your case.

What is Botulinum Toxin?
Botulinum Toxin has been used for 25 years and is a type of purified protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium. It is very safe and is injected directly into the facial muscles in tiny amounts during treatment.
How does it work?
Botulinum Toxin (BTX) works by blocking the transmission
of nerve impulses to the facial muscles that have been
injected. This makes the muscles less active and therefore
softens and smoothes the appearance of persistent lines
and wrinkles.How many treatments will I need?
In most cases patients see a real difference after one
treatment. Because every face is unique you will be advised
how many treatments you are likely to need. This is also dependent
on the results you wish to achieve and the success
of each treatment.How long does Botulinum Toxin work for?
The effects can last up to 4 months, depending on the
patient. If you decide to stop treatment, any permanent lines
and wrinkles will gradually return.Is the treatment painful?
It is very rare for treatment with Botulinum Toxin to be painful.
Most paitients experience only slight discomfort during
treatment. Many feel almost nothing at all. But please do not
worry. We will let you know exactly what to expect before any
